PLAY FOR ALL PROJECT
Official Opening of Churchfield Playground
The committee would like to thank The Lord Mayor of York Councilor Ian Gillies and the Civic party along with Children
from Wigginton Primary School, Wonder Years,
Grant Providers, members of the local community and supporters who attended to the opening on Wednesday 29th April.
Grateful thanks go to Volunteers from Tesco, who provided
fruit bags for the children and Nestle for providing sweets
ACTIVE FUNDRAISING FOR PHASES 2/3 IS UNDERWAY
TO RAISE £26,500.
The committee would like to thank the following for their grants:
PWT Solicitors JS Charitable Trust £5000, Haxby Town Council £500,
and Wigginton Village Stores for the ongoing Charity Box collection £18,315.50 raised to date!
Local fund raising continues as well as grant requests to Charitable Trusts.
We intend to do a Car Boot Sale after April 19th any sale donations would be most welcome.
